Useful extra activity sheets for students. Good powerpoints that summarise content well. Bought it with a discount code - excellent value for money. A really good buy.

Not all that useful
08 March 2013  |

I was rather disappointed with the content of the CD. I was hoping for inspirational, or at least different, interpretations of how the assignment might be tackled, but there isn't much than hasn't come straight from the Unit Specifications. I haven't gone through all of it in detail, but noticed that in Unit 16 PPT there is a picture of a Brittany Ferry, however the unit is only supposed to be about travel within the UK. Good packaging; arrived promptly.

Response:

Publisher's response: we're sorry that you didn't find the CD useful. The extra student activities included with the CD are designed to develop students' knowledge and understanding prior to completing the assignment. The assignments themselves must follow the unit specifications in order to be fit for purpose and are written to include real-world scenarios. The links to extra reading and resources, plus the test question answers, PowerPoint presentations and schemes of work for the Units included in this CD, provide tutors with a comprehensive support package not offered by any other publisher.
